Before and after images:

About "Mewers"
Mewers was my best friend for 20 years. She was an angel in cat suit, always there when you needed her comfort and love.

She had this strange way of sitting up like a dog and when you talked to her she would cock her head and look at you right in the eyes. After a good talk she would curl up around your neck and rub her little furry cheek against yours as if to say "It's o.k."

My angel was called back to heaven but part of her remains forever in my heart."

About "George"

Everyone in the neighborhood knows the famous soccer dog, George. When his human is working in the front yard he will follow with his ball, serving it and backing up, focused and ready for the kick.

When he was young, it was impossible to get the ball past him. His specialty was to leap astonishingly high to catch the ball in mid-air before it hit the ground.

We're not sure of George's lineage, but we think the Border Collie in him is what makes him so smart, and the lab part is the source of overall sweetness.

About "Sophie"

"Sophie is a 2 year-old red dapple.  She lives in a household of five outside kitties and a 30 year-old African Greay parrot named Ruby.  Ruby has the vocabulary of a five year-old.

She is inside and Sophie's daytime companion when I am not there.  She will call her in my voice as well as praise her.  For instance, when Sophie does a great trick, I say "Good Girl".  The foot note here is the parrot instigates Sophie's barking by making a whistle when people drive up.

Of course, the parrot will do this to the poor dog just as she lays down for a nap and will repeat as often as she likes.

She gardens with me and the kitties follow us everywhere throughout the yard like mascots."
Canvas: After priming the canvas board, I apply coats of acrylic paints. Then I start adding photos or transfers of your pet and begin to develop the narrative story you have sent me with your photos.  High resolution small images are best.  Please send several pictures along with images of their favorite toy or  favorite place.  Also, please write a small narrative that best describes your pet's habits, or personality because that is what makes these mixed media pieces very unique and personal to your pet. (Please don't worry about spelling or grammar, it's only your pet's story that I'm interested in!)

The Details:  I will update you with some pictures during the time I'm working on your pet's portrait.  I do require 50% up front, 50% on completion or 100% up front.
Payment can be made through Pal Pal or money orders.  Larger pieces may require additional mailing fees due to the cost of shipping. Please include your zip code for postage calculations.

To Order:  email me and tell me which size and type of portrait you'd like. Send your pictures along with a short narrative about your pet.  Turn around time can be 3-4 weeks and sometimes sooner depending on the type of portrait ordered and prior commitments.
